FAQs

What Happens at Our Events

No! You’re always welcome to sit back and look and listen.

Attendees bring a photo or object from their personal collection and share a story about the “thing”. The item serves as a visual aid, a prop, to springboard the story.

Everyone is welcome to share with a 3-5 minute time limit. No judges, no prizes, no competition. And no need to practice! Just show your object and share its tale.
Again you are ALWAYS welcome to Look & Listen.

Generally, events run between 1.5 – 2 hours, depending on location and number of attendees.

The cost structure is determined by the event. Please contact us HERE for more information

We are growing and planning more events as we expand. In the meantime, if you would like to organize an event in your area, you can either invite one of our Show & Tale members to host or perhaps consider Joining Our Community. Virtual events are held on a video conferencing platform chosen by the Partner. Zoom is often used by our Partners. When using Zoom for the first time, you will be instructed to download a small piece of software in order to run Zoom. In order to join a Zoom call, your computer must have a microphone and camera. When you register for an event you’ll receive confirmation & reminder emails with instructions for use & the link for the event.
