SUMMARY:Passed & Present (9/11 Edition)
DESCRIPTION:It’s hard to believe it’s been over 20 years. \nI was in Brooklyn when the towers fell. I was in the lab area on a break in between my biology classes at John Dewey High School in Bay Ridge. A colleague offered to drive me home to Prospect Heights. We walked out to her car & it was covered with ash💔 \nWhether or not you were in NYC on 9/11 or not you probably will always remember that September day. \nBring the things that hold your 9/11 story & share its story. You are always welcome to look & listen. No one will be forced to share. \nShow & Tale is like Antiques Roadshow meets The Moth\, or your favorite Pinterest board come to life! \nEveryone is welcome to share with a 3-minute time limit. No judges\, no prizes\, no competition. And no need to practice! Just Show your object and share its Tale. \nRemember you don’t have to show and tell…you can just look and listen; observers are always welcome! \nShow & Tale is featured in Allison Gilbert’s book Passed & Present: Keeping Memories of Loved Ones Alive What photos or things do you keep to help you keep the memory of their loved one alive?
